Last January 19th, Dr. George Kyriakarakos, who is part of the AgroFossilFree team at CERTH, was invited to give a lecture at Panteion University (Greece) under the MSc “International and European Law and Governance” and the course “Policy of the European Union for the Environment and Energy – Formulation and implementation of Policy”.
The title of the presentation he gave was “Energy and Sustainable Development”. Part of this presentation was dedicated to Energy Policy and Planning, from the Continental down to Regional and National levels. As a case study of how the European Commission mobilizes available res ources for developing guidelines for future policies, the AgroFossilFree project was presented
