In the framework of WP1, AgroFossilFree´s partners have recently started to conduct surveys among EU farmers in order to identify farmers’ needs, innovative ideas and interests regarding FEFTS. The main goal of the survey is to identify the adoption (or not) of energy saving technologies/practices, RES or soil carbon sequestration practices in EU farms.
In each of the project countries, partners will at least identify:
– 30 ADOPTERS: 15 farmers using RES + 15 farmers using energy-saving technologies/practices
– 30 NON-ADOPTERS: 30 farmers not using either of them
– 5 of USERS + 5 of NON USERS: Soil carbon sequestration practices
The partners in charge have been informed and trained on how to implement the survey. The surveys will be conducted until mid-May and a report compiling farmers’ needs will be available in October 2021.
