DESCRIPTION:We are happy to invite you to a joint event organised online by the three sister projects that are part of AREA ZERO cluster:  AgroFossilFre ( https://www.agrofossilfree.eu/ ), TheGreeFa ( https://thegreefa.eu/ ), and RES4LIVE. ( https://res4live.eu/ ) The event takes part next Thursday 22nd September at 9:00h.\n\nThe session “Together towards energy-efficient and de-fossilised agriculture” will be organised within the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2022 (EUSEW2022) ( https://eusew.eu/ ) Extended Programme and will be focused on the current challenges of the European agricultural sector, and innovative approaches proposed by the EU-funded projects.\nYou will be also introduced to the solutions proposed by the three projects providing answers on how to overcome the challenges – innovative ways to increase the use of agricultural biomass for heating, technologies supporting the decoupling of fossil fuels through the integration of renewable energy sources in agriculture and livestock farming, heat and water recovery systems for greenhouses, and scalable approaches to the introduction of new efficient technologies for controlled environment agriculture.
