On the 14th of April 2021, AgroFossilfree has taken part in the first virtual edition of #CEMASummit ‘Seeding the Future of Sustainable Farming – Advanced Farm Machines & Solutions to deliver on the European Green Deal’. Farmers, ag machinery business leaders, EU decision-makers and various stakeholders met virtually to discuss how the EU can assist farm technology uptake and achieve a more digital and greener agriculture for producers of all sectors and sizes.
The agenda were filled with 30 high-level speakers, 5 interactive live sessions, an online exhibition displaying the latest trends in the agricultural machinery world and selected EU research projects (AgroFossilFree among them). The event gathered over 500 participants. Konstantinos Vaiopoulos, from IBO-CERTH, and Maite Zarranz, from ININ, were available during the whole event at the AgroFossilFree online booth to answer and discuss the project with participants. Participants were also able to watch AgroFossilFree promotional video directly from the online booth.
