Our coordinator, Thanos Baloufatis, was interviewed by Ypaithros magazine to present AgroFossilFree project.
Thanos Baloufatis explained how the project will benefit farmers by reducing the use of fossil fuel energy at all stages of agricultural production, while maintaining the same quality of the final product. He also explained which are the technologies and strategies that could be adopted by farmers in order to reduce the use of fossil fuel energies in the agricultural sector. These technologies, known as “FEFTS” for its acronym of “Fossil-Energy-Free Technologies and Strategies” will be presented in several workshops to farmers and stakeholders from all over Europe and will be gathered online in an “AgEnergy Platform”. AgroFossilFree project will contribute to the High Level EU Strategies, such as EU Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategy.
